Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, I am offering telehealth ( A HIPPA compliant Video Chat) and telephone sessions. The Coronavirus is a strain on us all. My office is located in the Murco Plaza on the corner of Capitol and Paseo Padre Parkway . An elevator is located on the first floor for those not wishing to take the stairs. I provide a safe and relaxing place to heal. I use my 23 years of training and experience to help people who are struggling to get balance back into their lives and relationships . My approach to therapy varies depending on the particular issues you are experiencing, I have been trained in many theoretical orientations including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Couples Counseling, Psychodynamic Counseling, Solution Focused, and Crisis Work. I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which has been shown to be effective in helping people to make emotional and behavioral changes. What you can expect when you come to therapy is a compassionate person who will work colloberatively with you. Together we will evaluate the issues. Look at where you want to be and set realistic goals. My goals as a therapist are not only to help you feel better, but to teach you skills that you can continue to use long after therapy is over.
